Children’s Home and Training Center – Nortons
The Norton family has been working in the previously un-entered city of Sukhothai, in north central Thailand. They have accepted children from terrible, abusive places into their home and now their home is too small with very little place for the kids to play. They’ve found a property of 11 acres about 25 minutes outside the city with multiple homes already built and plenty of room to work and play for the children. They also envision a Bible worker training center being established on this property, which is desperately needed in Thailand. Even though it seems expensive, this is an amazing steal at this price.
Here’s a short video about this beautiful property.

JFA Evening Schools
COVID-19 Update: The schools are going strong through this pandemic. The teaching has been reduced to just a few minutes but the feeding has been ongoing and supported by the government (much appreciated, actually) and is more important now than ever since many of the families that we serve are on the edge of poverty already and many have lost a lot of work. These schools are a lifeline for them.
—
JFA Evening Schools provide education and a nourishing meal for children in poverty-stricken situations. These schools operate in the evenings and are a much needed resource to help the children gain a better education and fight the ever-present challenge of malnutrition.
$7/month is all it takes to provide two hours of education and a healthy meal six days a week to a child at our evening schools!

Matching Grant! Vehicle for Mindoro – Completed!
This project is completed! Thank you!!!
***Original Text***
Our project in Mindoro is bringing light to tribes in the mountains who are locked in superstition. They provide education and food for the children and show them a God who is the strong and kind. Since they have been doing this the mortality rate of the young people have been drastically reduced. The problem the ministry leaders are having is that all their vehicles have died and they have a hard time getting the food to the people. They are riding bicycles now. They would like this basic van which can haul 20 people at a time including driver, gets great gas mileage, and is brand new. It can also haul a lot of food for the kids.A donor called recently and told us that they had received an inheritance of $10,000 and were thinking of buying a new car since theirs has over 100,000 miles but they watched the show on 3ABN and their hearts were touched with the need of the children in Mindoro and so they decided to put up the money as a matching grant.

Love for Asia Foundation – Thailand
Love for Asia Foundation is Jesus for Asia’s organizational presence in Thailand that provides the legal means for our missionaries to stay and work in the country. God raised up this foundation at just the time that it was needed, otherwise many missionaries and their families would have had to return home.

Jesus4SlumKids – Bauder
Josh and Chitlada Bauder began their ministry in the On Nut 49 Slum area of Bangkok. They found sponsorship for 2 kids to go to Chiang Mai Adventist Academy in the north but then realized the kids need parents! So they moved to the north to provide a home atmosphere for them. Since then 6 more kids have joined their growing family, along with their own newborn baby girl. They have outgrown their house and now are praying for funds to build a new one, as well as provide sponsorship for more children (currently there are requests for 15 more children to join them).

Butterfly Paradise
Wat Preah Yesu (Tim and Wendy Maddocks) is located in one of the most touristed spots in Asia. God gave Tim a vision to build a Butterfly aviary to be a compelling witness to the tourists that come from many countries all around the world. Instead of selling the property for millions, they are building it into a witnessing tool for Christ.

Gayle’s Jungle Mission
Gayle had committed to a three-month stay in Thailand in 2009, but fell in love with the Karen people, and could no longer see a life for herself in the USA. Her ministry is medical, which in-turn results in Bible studies with the people. Gayle is an exciting, passionate missionary who loves her work! She currently runs a clinic up in the mountain jungles of northern Thailand, but travels around to the villages around offering not just medical help, but spiritual as well.

Sharon Family Projects
Leroy and Lisa Sharon are missionaries to Thailand. Lisa is currently raising 4 young girls for the Lord. This focus has turned out to be the best witness to the local village which has never seen a Christian before. Leroy is traveling to local villages and schools and connecting people with the Savior through language teaching using Bible stories. Interest is growing rapidly in the Gospel and there is a call developing for a Bible School to be established in the area.
