The Joy of Surrender

We are excited to bring the essence of FaithCamp to the Chattanooga area with “The Joy of Surrender” Missions Conference. Surrender is the most difficult and most important aspect of the Christian walk.“No one can be a successful soul winner til he himself has settled the question of surrender to God.” EGW CM 49

How do we surrender? Each of our speakers has surrendered a great deal to do God’s work and they couldn’t be happier. If you want to know what real surrender looks like, you need to come to this event!

The conference is free to attend. Meals will be available at a cost of $5.00 per person per meal for those who register for them.

Ramon & Shandy Tengkano
National Missionaries – IndonesiaRamon and Shandy used to be millionaires until God called them to surrender their wealth and live by faith. They sold everything and now operate a satellite TV station broadcasting over all of Indonesia in the Bahasa language. Their station is one of only two stations broadcasting the Adventist message in Indonesia.

Lisa Sharon
Missionary – ThailandLisa Sharon and her family are missionaries in northwest Thailand where they live to serve the community around them and care for the needs of the people in any way they can. They teach English, healthy living, and provide natural remedies as is appropriate. Leroy and Lisa’s four sons are adults now and they have started a new family by adopting four orphaned Karen girls.

“In everything we do, we endeavor to point people to Jesus.” Lisa Sharon

Jonathan Hill

JFA Foreign Correspondent

Jonathan Hill lives in Thailand and travels all over Asia as Jesus for Asia’s Foreign Correspondent. His primary job is to film our projects so we can keep our readers and viewers up to date on all the exciting work going on overseas. Jonathan is a very talented videographer and photographer, and has had many amazing and miraculous adventurers in the mission field.

Jon Wood
President, Jesus for Asia
Jon and Natalie Wood stepped out in faith in 2006 to begin full-time ministry and never looked back. By God’s grace, Jesus for Asia has grown from a half dozen Bible workers in India to over 40 projects in India, Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines. Jon’s greatest desire is to see the Three Angels Message proclaimed to all the world, especially in Asia where the knowledge of the One True God is almost non-existent. Jon and Natalie have two teenage children, James and Mary Ann.

Thank you for being a part of the Jesus for Asia family!

I am so thankful to be a part of God’s work in Asia!
