Butterfly Paradise is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia, near one of Asia’s most–visited tourist attractions. God gave Tim Maddocks a vision to build a butterfly aviary to stand as a compelling witness to the millions of tourists that come to Siem Reap from countries all around the world each year.

Butterfly Paradise aims to take this opportunity to testify of God, the Creator. While viewing His creation, people are taken on guided tours where they learn that evolution cannot explain how butterflies formed and their ability to fly. Plaques along the path show the stages of a butterfly’s growth and how it is impossible for them to have come into existence by chance. Visitors to Butterfly Paradise can also enjoy an air-conditioned 3D movie theater that introduces people to the Creator God. 

Money that comes in from entry fees, the vegetarian restaurant, and the souvenir shop goes to offset some of the expenses of Butterfly Paradise as well as other SALT Ministries projects.
