Churches are powerful evangelistic tools. A nice, well-maintained church, even if it is simple, can be a witness to the community that God cares for His people. Churches can serve as places for believers to reach out to the community.

If new believers in Asia have no church in their area, they sometimes give up and scatter. Building churches for new congregations can help establish the work our Bible Workers have poured their lives and souls into.

Churches are needed throughout Asia, from India to the Philippines and beyond. Some need to be built from the ground up, while other churches, once abandoned, need to be renovated to be a witness in their communities again.

In some areas, the need for churches is so strong, and the pace of the church building so fast, that we have a hard time tracking them, so we rely on local church leaders to build churches where they are most needed.

In other areas, church leaders share specific needs for churches in strategic locations (like the south-Philippines church in the photo). We often share needs like these in our newsletters, publications, and JFA now shows.
