This school was built during the world’s longest-running civil war, which has been going on since WWII.

The Emerald Hill School offers elementary, middle, and high school classes. They provide traditional courses such as reading, writing, and math with a strong spiritual emphasis. They teach the value of the Scriptures in their morning and evening worships, where they read the Bible together. They also teach the health message and other lessons from the Spirit of Prophecy.

Many of the school’s students do not have a lot of options in life, but they can find direction and purpose through education. Education is the best way to assist the next generation of Gospel workers. 

The school offers scholarships to students who cannot afford their school fees. $35 a month will help support a student’s portion of the school’s expenses. 

The Emerald Hill School is also upgrading its bamboo school buildings to wooden ones that will give students good places to study and live for many years.
