Rob and Julie Peterson, with their son Josiah, are preparing to move to Siem Reap, Cambodia to start a lifestyle center in the beautiful countryside outside of town.  

When Rob visited SALT ministries (Tim and Wendy Maddocks) in November of 2022, he was shown country property which had been purchased for the purpose of opening a lifestyle center. When he learned that this property had been sitting, unused, for a number of years for lack of someone to take charge of the project, a seed was planted.  On returning home he shared this idea with Julie and over time, and with much prayer, this seed grew into a conviction that God was calling them to take this on. 

Although neither one feel ‘qualified’ for this task, they are trusting that God knows what He is doing and will give the wisdom and help needed. 
Rob, Julie and Josiah all went to Cambodia in February of 2024 to visit the property and begin site planning along with Tim. Currently these plans are with an architect for further development.  In the meantime, Rob and Julie are working to get their home ready to sell along with most of their possessions. 

The first part of the vision is to develop a center where guests can come to gain a knowledge of the principles of health and receive healing and help for making a lifestyle transformation. This provides a perfect opportunity to show the love of God and point them to the Creator - who not only heals physical disease but emotional and spiritual diseases as well. 

The second part is to operate a training program where people can be trained to go out as medical missionaries - equipped with a knowledge of simple remedies and lifestyle medicine to reach people who cannot come to a live-in program.
