India

India is quickly becoming the world’s most-populated country. Its population is 1.4 billion people, most of whom are Hindu. India is one of the world’s least-reached countries; an estimated 95% have never heard the Gospel.

The Indian people have many barriers to hearing the Gospel, including language, socioeconomic status, education, etc. Many Indians become open to the Gospel when they experience God’s power and love. Our main projects in India include Bible Workers, education, and media.

  • Audio Bibles

We all know what a blessing the Bible is for those who can read God’s Word. But what about all those who never learned to read or are blind? How can they be built up in the faith? The answer lies in today’s technology. Cheap MP3 players with audio Bible recordings in local languages do more to build up the church in poor places than almost anything!

  • Bibles and Literature for Asia

Asia is where the least reached peoples of the world are living. Many do not have access to the Gospel. There is no Christian bookstore on the corner, and there are no Bibles in the local stores. This fund allows Bible workers in various countries to give Bibles to baptismal candidates so they can read the Word in their own language.

  • Bible Workers: India

Bible Workers are invaluable in reaching the many thousands of towns and villages across India. Because they already speak the language and understand the culture, these dedicated workers meet the people on their level. They travel to villages, pray with the people, provide Bible studies, and develop faith-filled groups of believers that stay committed long-term.

  • Bible Worker Training

Many of our Bible Workers have a strong heart for Jesus and a desire to serve Him but need Bible training. With so few pastors in the work force compared to the number of people that need nurturing these simple but wonderful workers are often…

  • Bicycles for Bible Workers

Many of our Bible Workers, especially in the North, find transportation extremely difficult due to the high cost and irregular public transportation in the rural districts. Each bicycle costs approximately $100.

  • Church Buildings

Churches are a powerful evangelistic tool. If new believers in Asia have no church in their area, they sometimes give up and scatter. Building churches can help establish the work our Bible Workers have

  • Health & Life

This project is working to bring a knowledge of health and healthy living to a people group who have very little access to this kind of life giving information.

  • Humanitarian

Jesus exemplified reaching out to those in need. Through this fund, Jesus for Asia seeks to follow His example. Gifts will be used for disaster relief, blanket distribution, food distribution, and other humanitarian projects.

  • India Day Schools

India Day Schools have a great capacity to witness for Christ every day all day long. Help start new SDA schools in places with a great need for the Gospel.

  • India TV Ministry

If our JFA Bible Workers are our ground force, television is our Air Force. It has proved to be a powerful tool to reach into people’s homes and introduce Jesus to them. We are currently airing a half hour program every day on a popular channel and…

  • JFA Evening Schools

Evening Schools provide education and nourishing meals for children in poverty-stricken situations. These schools operate in the evenings and are a much needed resource to help these children gain a better education…

  • JFA Foreign Correspondents

Since Asia seems distant to most people in Christian countries, Jonathan and Hannah Hill have been sharing the needs and experiences of missions there through videos so more people can be informed about what is happening and learn how they can help meet the needs.

  • Life-changing Stories

One of the greatest needs in sharing the gospel is training our workers to have a deeper understanding of present truth and to develop an Adventist healthy lifestyle. Armani* and Ariana* are gifted trainers with a well-developed, systematic curriculum for a 4-month program. They hope to utilize this project in many different places throughout Asia.

  • Light Asia Publishing

The Rogers Family is working, with God’s help, to establish a publishing House for South East Asia. The purpose is to provide Christ-centered literature, Bible study guides, and books in native languages to share through the printed page a knowledge of the love, joy, and peace that God gives.

  • Manipur Medical Relief

A civil war is happening in the Indian state of Manipur. This project is to help fund medical supplies and an ambulance for our Bible Worker who is in the middle of it all.

  • Mission Project - Raney

Jason Raney has been doing evangelistic outreach, seminars and training programs for pastors and Bible workers in various countries as well as other projects as the Lord leads.

  • Mumbai Churches

Mumbai, India, is one of the world’s most-populated cities, with over 27 million residents and only 20 churches in the metro area. Over the years, several of these churches have become condemned due to lack of funds for repairs. We want these churches repaired and more churches built in this massive city!

  • Projectors for Evangelism

Projectors are a huge advantage in sharing the Gospel. Especially in places with no television (yes, there are still places like that). We get many requests for this tool for holding evangelistic series and winning people to Christ.

  • Sathe Nagar Slum Church

The slums of Mumbai are among the largest in Asia, and we have had several Bible Workers working in the slums for a number of years. Sathe Nagar has over 100 believers, but they do not have a church. The congregation has been renting different churches for a while, and they have been trying to raise money to build a new church for more than six years. Building them a church would cost about $20,000-$25,000, and it would be a great blessing to this vibrant community of believers.

  • South India Ministry Center

We have been given property in South India to build an office for our work throughout the country. Along with the office, we hope to build a home for our director, a guest house, and a place to do outreach projects such as an evening school, a widow’s sewing school, and an EGW library.

  • SUD Mission Projects

We have a dream to have several small “Lifestyle Community Centers” in every large city in India. These centers will be places where people can come to mingle, learn, and be inspired and discipled for Jesus. Another mission project is to train “Lifestyle Coaches” to lead the ministry in these Community Lifestyle Centers.

  • Tripura School

This will be the first full Adventist High School in the entire state of Tripura! We finally bought land to build a school in Tripura, India! We have been praying for this since 2021. After several delays, local church leaders and landowners were able to finalize the paperwork and transfer the deed of the property.

  • Unreached People Seed Fund

So many groups of people in Asia have not even heard the name of Jesus. Gifts to this fund will allow Jesus for Asia to start new projects in areas where there are no believers.

  • Water Well Drilling

Give the Water of Life by providing physical water to needy villages in Asia! AS WATER TO THE THIRSTY…

  • Widows' Sewing School

There are over 40 million widows in India. These women are often forced to beg or sell themselves to make a living because they are uneducated and can’t get a job. Our Widows’ Sewing School is changing that, one woman at a time! This school teaches the women how to sew, giving them a better way of providing for their families!

  • Worthy Student Fund

One of the most effective long-term mission strategies is to invest in the Adventist education of our young people, many of whom are the first generation in the church and have no Adventist background. An Adventist education will give them that daily experience with other Christians.

  • Where Needed Most

Your donation will go to where the need is greatest at the time, as well as enabling Jesus for Asia to continue to provide support for all its projects. By giving to "Where Needed Most," you make sure no project gets left behind.
