"You Will Stand Before Kings" Part 2

Last time we hinted that something very important was happening with GoBeDo Missions in Mindanao and that Mike and Michelle Cordes experiencing Matthew 10:16-20 and claiming God's promise:"16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. 18 You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; 20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you."Because of the seriousness of the situation we could not go into full detail of what was happening, but we are now able to give some additional information. As many of you probably know, Mindanao is under martial law due to the conflict between the government and the rebels. GoBeDo Missions has been under close scrutiny by the Philippine government for possible ties to the Communist rebels.Mike and Michelle were questioned on several different occasions even though they have never supported the rebels in any way. Punishment for supporting the rebels is very severe and the Cordes' were in danger of being separated or even harmed.Last week, Mike and Michelle appeared before members of the government and military for a review. They were bold, like Paul, in challenging the lies and misrepresentations that had been placed against them. In the end, they were 100% cleared of any suspicions and allowed to continue their work in Mindanao. God keeps his promises. We now ask that you pray that their witness will grow and that they will be protected from the rebels. Being cleared by the government makes them a potential target for the rebels. Please pray for the leaders they interacted with that God will water the seeds they have planted. Please also pray that the government will stand by their decision to clear them fully. "He's faithful, He's faithful,I know He's faithful!I know my Lord is faithful to carry me through."Thank you for your prayers!

Appeal for Aid

Last week we learned that a donor who had been supporting the rental cost for the building that is being renovated for the Bangkok Center of Influence has decided to no longer continue doing so.The Center is in need of a supporter(s) who will pick up this cost. The rent for the entire building, including the additional new space on the first floor is approx. $1,030/month.

Thank you!

Jesus for Asia Vision Trip 2018

January 9 - February 18, 2018

A Jesus for Asia Vision Trip is different from any mission trip you have ever taken before. There is so much work still be done, especially in Asia and a typical mission trip does not really show that. We will visit Thailand, India, and Cambodia to see what kind of work is being done now, but also to see the immense need there still is for the Gospel. It is estimated that nearly 40% of the world still has no access to the Gospel. 40%!The cost for this trip is $3,500 per person for the entire 6-week trip, if registration is received by October 6, 2017, the cost goes up to $4,000 after that. Options are available for a 3-week segment as well. You may click the following links to download the registration forms and trip details:Vision Trip 2018 LetterVision Trip 2018 ItineraryVision Trip 2018 Registration Forms You can email the forms to Kelly Meyer at kelly@jesus4asia.org or send them by mail to:
