Emergency Prayer Requests

Dear Friends and Family,

I’m reaching out to you today because of an emergency that is a call to prayer. We are nearing the end of the month and have only one quarter of the amount needed to pay the stipends for our JFA Bible workers in India. Just thinking of them receiving one quarter of their full pay, across India, really brings me to tears! They already sacrifice so much to serve God with joy.

As I think of how effective they are in hastening the soon coming of Jesus Christ my desire is to see even more of them out spreading the news.

Being born in the country, they are able to move freely in areas where western missionaries can’t. They’re already there, speak the language, know the culture, and are able to live on less than $100/month! Best of all, they love Jesus! They care for churches that would otherwise be closed, and plant new churches in unentered areas. God uses them and they’re amazing! We really don’t want to see them suffer any more than necessary. 

Will you join us in earnest prayer this week as we look to our Heavenly Father to provide for their needs?

Prayers Answered

Dear Friends and Family,

Just one week ago yesterday I sent out an urgent prayer request for Bible worker stipends. Many of you may be wondering if your prayers have made a difference. Well, yes they have! 

The Lord has provided the full stipend for our Bible workers for July!!!!!

All 258 of them!!!

Tears of joy are not enough to express our gratefulness to God and to you. This month the Bible workers in India will be able to feed their families, pay their rent, take care of their obligations, and continue to focus on bringing the Gospel to a people who are otherwise destined to die in darkness and despair. 

This also teaches me that God's plan to provide for His work is surely through His people joining in prayer for His blessing and then actively supplying the want when possible and that together more is accomplished than apart.  

Thank you for the encouragement this is to us personally. This is strong evidence to me that God has people that keep His work and His workers close to their hearts and in their prayers. It's easy to slip into thinking that you're all alone in caring for the lost overseas, but that seems to be a lie from satan, designed to keep us disunited. The truth is that God has His people and they hear His voice. 

We serve a very good God.
