Catch a glimpse of the new property and the Norton family’s vision for the space!
Please note that this video was filmed before the property was purchased.
This past Sunday, November 15, we signed the paperwork for the property that will soon become a children's home and outpost/training center in Sukhothai, Thailand! Since moving to Thailand just over a year ago, the Norton family has taken in six precious little ones in need of a loving and stable home. For the past few months, the Norton family has been working on registering their ministry with the Thai government so they can provide homes for even more needy and at-risk children.
Before they could complete their registration, however, they needed to find a home large enough to accommodate this growing ministry, with plenty of green space for the children to play and learn from God's creation.
God has provided just that!
This nearly-ten-acre property, which we first shared about a couple weeks ago, has three houses already built on it, as well as several other buildings and plenty of grass. Now that the paperwork has been signed, the Nortons will be able to take occupancy in mid December!
This new children's home also has an official name: Ban Ta Yim (บ้านตายิ้ม); translated it's Smiling Eyes Home.
We feel incredibly blessed to witness the amazing work God is doing through the Norton family, even in such a short amount of time, and we cannot wait to see how God continues to grow their ministry! We thank each of you who has been praying for their work, this property, and the city of Sukhothai!
We invite you to please continue praying for this property. In faith, we have made an agreement with the seller to pay off the property in increments of $7,500 a month, with a $20,000 downpayment, for the next two years. Will you join us as we pray and trust in God for His provision?
