From Despair to Faith

One fateful day, while working at a construction site, Avinas plummeted from the second floor of a building. Unable to walk normally and facing an uncertain future, Avinas' life took an unexpected turn. This is the story of his journey from despair to faith, a journey that led him to discover the power of love and the strength of community.

Avinas is from India. He comes from a family of laborers struggling to make ends meet. Avinas and the other four members of his family—his father, mother, and two brothers—are all engaged in hard labor, yet their combined efforts hardly suffice to meet their basic needs. Economic hardship deprived Avinas and his family of education, leaving them illiterate and trapped in poverty. 

Despite their Hindu background and devotion to various gods and goddesses, Avinas found himself questioning his faith. However, his life changed dramatically one Saturday when he encountered a group of people praying to the God of heaven for their needs. Avinas was drawn to their group and joined them, feeling for the first time the reassuring presence of a community connected by love and faith.

Tears streamed down his face as Avinas listened to their prayers, and he found himself praying to God for the first time. The JFA Bible Worker, Anurag, approached him with concern, asking about his injury. He showed Avinas compassion and love, and his kindness moved Avinas. Embracing this newfound love, Avinas decided to open his heart to God and accept that he, too, was loved and cared for by Him. 

In Avinas' inspiring story, we witness the profound impact of how God led Avinas to the prayer group and showed His compassion through the Bible Worker. Avinas realized that despite his struggles, he was not alone and that God's love could shine even on the darkest paths. Avinas' journey of faith became a testament to the power of kindness and the life-changing impact of opening one's heart to divine love.
