God's Expanding Work in Asia - Bible Worker Testimonies

Did you know that Jesus for Asia has hired more than 125 Bible Workers since the start of 2023? These new Bible Workers serve in India, Malaysia, Cambodia, and beyond.

Check out a few of their testimonies below:

Ram - India
A young lady was unable to have a child for several years. When we met her, we fasted and prayed with her for several weeks. God heard our prayers, and now this lady is pregnant. By the grace of God, this family will experience the blessing of a child in a few months. 

Jagdish - India
An older man worked as a farm laborer. He and his wife often visit our church for Sabbath worship. One day, the wife began feeling sick; she had cold and fever symptoms and could not walk. We took her to a public health center, but the medicine the doctors gave her did not help. 

The man and his family did not have much money to take the woman to a private hospital, so they asked me to come home and pray for her. We prayed in a small group at the family’s house, and she started to improve in a few days. A few weeks later, she and her husband came for Sabbath worship and testified of God’s healing in her life. Their faith has grown, and they want to learn more about Jesus and be baptized. 

Bible Worker Team - Malaysia
One of our Bible Worker teams in Malaysia lives three minutes from the church they are assigned to. They are able to invite their neighbors to attend church on Sabbath, and some end up bringing their families too. The Bible Workers help their neighbors with their emotional and physical needs. They bring them to doctor visits, visit shut-ins, and share the love of Jesus through Bible studies. 

One elderly uncle who was very against Christianity had a severe accident resulting in the loss of many normal life functions. The Bible Workers helped his family to take care of him, and he finally wanted to study the Bible together. His family started joining church activities. 

Mora - Cambodia
Sister Raksmey heard about Jesus before but had yet to accept Him. After a while, her life became difficult. She and her family struggled to find enough income to survive. They were never at peace because they always worried if they would have enough food for tomorrow. 

A few months ago, I visited her house, and she has started coming back to church. She told me that after she came back, her life became more peaceful. She told me that through faith in the Lord, she believes God will provide for her and her family. Now, I am preparing her for baptism.
